Design

We always start off with this aspect of any device. The look and feel of any device is important. For Quads the company has given a very modern and fresh look. First thing you will notice and talk about is the thick cushion on the earphone. So yes, it is in red color. The combination of Red and Black does look superb.

The band of the device also looks stiff. The device is sturdy and if it gets fallen down then also there will be not an issue. Although we have not done any of the drop tests 😛 The gadget is a bit heavy but when you wear it there is no such heavy weight you can ever realize. The first look of the device did felt me like that it is a wireless headphone.

We liked the design a lot. There is a 3.5 mm jack in the device. You can connect an aux cable of 3.5mm to the headphone and connect it to any device. The device is sturdy. We liked the device a lot.

Performance

As you know that we have tested the device for more than 7 days. Actually we wanted to extend more as we wanted to enjoy the music. We listened to songs a lot. Various songs we enjoyed. The bass and the treble was balanced well. When you hear a song which has proper beats then you feel like you are in a pub. Yes, the effect was very good.

As soon as you equip the headphone, first thing you notice is noise cancellation. So almost half of the work is done by the headphone to deliver the music to you. The cushion of the headphone is very comfortable. We tested it for long hours and there was no such uneasiness.

Conclusion

The headphones have a sporty look. Sound quality is excellent. A bit bulgy to carry. Will appeal to the young crowd a lot.

Design

The device is colored Black. The build quality of the device is good. Even if it fells down it may not broke(We never did a drop test :-P). The device is light weight. If we look at the design then it looks very simple. There is a 3 point adapter and cable which can be attached with this device.

The placement of the USB`s are done with a unique way. The designers have thought about the users while creating the design. There are two USBs at the top, 1 each on three sides and at one side there is a chord. So design wise full marks to this device.

Performance

The performance of this device is good. Also there is a lag of 1.5 seconds when you connect and switch on the device. This is acceptable. After connecting device to USB there is no problems as such. The cable is also long. So it is convenient. I charged my MP3 player, Mobile phone using USB chord, also my digital camera & 2 mobiles of my friends. It was working great.

Conclusion

We used the device extensively for more than a week. We liked the device. The MRP of the device is Rs.1,999 which may be a concern for people. But you can get it at a heavy discounted price. Buy Now!

Portronics Scanny 6 Review – Portable Wi-Fi Scanner

Do you like to scan a lot of documents? Are you fed up of a traditional big A4 scanner. Ok, so here is a solution. Let us know about this Portable Wi-Fi scanner which is like a 30 cm ruler and a bit thicker. This is portable can serve your needs. So are you excited to know more about this product? Well if so then let us start analyzing this product which was with us for more than 10 days.

What might be done with this scanner? Ofcourse scanning the documents, but yes, with precision is what we all require. So does this scanner do scanning with precision? Uff lot of questions. So let us go into the adventure of knowing this scanner better. We can start with its design.

Portronics Scanny 6 Features

Design

As I said that this scanner is like 1 foot wide like a 30 cm ruler. It is thick but very light weighted. The screen size is 1.44inch. The scanner`s body does seem to be fragile. It is so delicate that I had to use it cautiously as if it gets fallen it might get broke into pieces. But I do believe that the scanner looks good but it should have been more rough and tough to use. The scanner look wise is excellent. It supports an SD card of upto 32GB.

Performance

The scanner is ultra smooth and easy to use. You just have to roll the scanner for an A4 document and you can scan the document with ease. The documents can be of any length, but the width it can cover is only of that of the A4. Even a kid can use the scanner with ease. So Performance wise we will give this scanner complete marks if we are by chance rating it.

The device is a complete package of scanning with ease. The scanning capability of the scanner is tested to the extreme by us. The main task is scanning and it can be done flawlessly. You can scan and save the documents in JPG and PDF formats. So the task is easier for the user who can do the scanning. Also there are three types of JPG and PDF. These 3 types include Low, Medium and High. The documents can be saved in these 3 types.

Battery of this device is superb. I charged it and scanned 243 documents and only 2/3^rd of the battery was consumed. While using Wi-Fi of the device, just to start the Wi-Fi the device took 28 seconds. Which is a very long time. We hope that the company will reduce this time. Overall this device is great in performance.

User Interface

The user interface of the device is very user friendly. You just have to deeply press the “Scan” button to power on the device. The display shows “Portronics” and the device starts. The device is started and then the main screen appears. There you can see the count of the photos/documents which you have scanned. If you are scanning for the first time then you have to calibrate the device. The calibration is very important and with the device you will get a paper with instructions on it.

The user interface is very important of any device. The scanner`s display is a small TFT screen. There are Back, Scan, Wi-Fi buttons in the device. The user interface of the device also includes a microSD slot. So you will have to insert a microSD card to save you’re the files. The data is completely stored in the device. Also there are up and down arrow buttons. These help in navigation of the files which are already scanned.

User Experience

The procedure of scanning is very simple. Just place the device at the top of the document. Then press the scan button, roll over the device till where you want to scan and then again press the scan button to stop the scan. The document gets scanned easily. You can assign the document to be JPG-HI, MED, LOW and also PDF in three formats.

Actually the device was very easy to use. For using Wi-Fi just keep pressed the “Wi-Fi” button, it says “Starting…”. Then it says “Ready…” so the Wi-Fi of the device is one and the device can be detected on your laptop or your smartphone. So you can see all the documents directly on your laptop/ smartphone/ tablet and very easy sharing of the files. It has a Built-in lithium battery which can be charged using SB charging. The 300/600/1050 dpi options for the user.

Accessories

In the box, there is a pouch for the scanner. There is a user manual, Calibration paper and a CD for installation of the software.

Conclusion

A good performance, design is delicate and priced at Rs.6,999. We would recommend this device to all the people who like to travel or like to carry a small portable Wi-Fi scanner then this device should be your choice.

Portronics Cubix review – Portable AUX speaker

Do you like to dance? Are you ready to enjoy music anywhere? I know this question is annoying for sure. If yes, then you should look out for this device named Portronics Cubix. This is a portable AUX speaker. What does it do? What input does it need? I know you might be having a lot of questions. We have extensively reviewed the device. So let us see the details of this device in detail.

Design

The design of the device has a lot of things. We will start with the build quality of the device. The device has a unique design. Nothing flashy by still looks cool. From younger audience to the older audience everyone will like the deign of this device.

It has a Rubber coating on the sides of this speaker. This gives it a premium look altogether. We had the chance of reviewing a Orange colored device. I would had preferred buying a Blue one. You can buy as per your need. The name “Portronics” is written on the side of the device. The device is not that heavy but yes, it has a bit weight.

Easy to transport. It is easy to switch on with a rolling button. When you roll it, the device is ON then if you roll more the Volume of the speaker is increased. By the way, you can connect the speaker to a 3.5mm port. So you can use it to any smartphone or connect it to PC or laptop. I connected it my Sony Walkman MP3 player and tested the device.

The first question which gets raised is “Will it fit into my pockets?” The answer is NO. So sorry but it is a big block which will fit in one hand but not super portable. It has a USB slot which is there for USB charging. A USB cable is provided by the speaker. So you can connect the speaker to your laptop or system and the speaker get charged using through USB.

There is a blue LED indicator. It gets light up when the speaker is ON. The LED light also looks gorgeous. The back cover is always needed to open so as to use the 3.5mm cable. You can also see a rechargeable cylindrical battery when you open the back panel of the device.

Performance

We tested it for many days. We did a lot of testing. Right from a closed room to a street full of traffic. The volume of the AUX speaker is decent. Loud enough to hear the beats in a closed room. We had danced the tunes of some great tracks. 4 people can dance surrounding the speaker with ease. So it is a portable sound system. I believe it worked best in the car when we were traveling to Lonavala.

The sound was immense when the windows were closed in the car. When the device is in full volume and you hold the device, you can feel the beats of the speaker. The Cubix makes amplifies the sound and makes it audible and enjoyable. I liked the sound quality. It would had been better if they could had made the volume more louder.

But still it is “Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka”. Good to use, looks ruff and tuff. The device is available in the market for Rs.1,299.

Conclusion

People who love music and are looking for a small budget portable AUX speaker, this is the one. Do not expect much from it though. Gave a good battery backup of around 8 hours. Cheers!

Actually Kingston has made good efforts to make this Beast look cool and awesome. The fashionable RAM looks very attractive. I personally showcased it to some system administrators of MNC`s and they were amazed to see such a design of the RAM. The color combination of Red “Hyper” over black background looks kickass. Even if you look at the cooling prospecting the design is very much suitable to provide proper cooling to the RAM.

Features

The RAM is available in 8,16,64GB versions. We had a chance to review the 8GB version. It has speeds upto 2400 MHz. The operating voltages go from 1.5V to 1.65V and also enables stable overclocking. The RAM is compatible with the XMP auto-overclocking function.

Performance

Generally a computer having 1 GB RAM 7 years ago was considered to be awesome. But what will happen when a user uses 2 units of 8 GB RAM at a time on the system. It is going to be majestic for sure. But what happens when 4 units of 8GB RAM will be used at one? The computer runs superbly fast. This is very important for the designers and video editors. Also for extreme gamers.

Final Verdict

This is a superb RAM. The performance is just fabulous. A recommended product for the system of Gamers as well as Designers and developers. The default [intlink id=”1137″ type=”post”]RAM[/intlink] of the personal computer does not have that power. There is always something more which you need, which is fulfilled by this RAM. Multi-Tasking can be done flawlessly. We liked the RAM and would like to suggest it to our audience.
