Xilinx is a supplier of programmable logic devices of american origin. It has many branches and is well organized around the world including Hyderabad. Xilinx designs and develop their programmable logic products and markets them including integrated circuits(IC), software design tools, predefined system functions as intellectual property(IP) cores.

Xilinx demonstrates Solutions

International Broadcasting Conference commonly known as IBC is a global place for the people who are engaged in creating, managing and delivering the future of electronic media and entertainment technology and content. Xilinx demonstrates all Programmable solutions for Smarter Vision systems at IBC 2014.

Xilinx demonstrates its programmable broadcast solutions at IBC 2006 When: 8-12 September 2006 at RAI Convention Center, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Xilinx Inc being the world`s largest programmable logic supplier has announced today that it will be demonstrating multiple FGPA- based solutions for the broadcasting industry at the International Broadcasting Conference(IBC) in amsterdam. The Xilinx broadcast team will showcase its FPGA-based applications in the areas of interfaces, connectivity, codecs, and audio/video processing.

Xilinx and its members of alliance are trying to cut the edge by putting focus on sub system development that enables cutting-edge video products to fasten the product introductions at unique rates. The following companies will demonstrate Xilinx sub-system leadership at IBC:

OmniTek – Stand 6.A18 –

Omni tek is the well renowned manufacturer of broadcast digital video and audio test and measurement equipment. This has been started in 1998 and it continues to furnish design,consultancy and intellectual property (FGPA core) sales for the pro-av market.

OMNITEK ULTRA 4K TOOLBOX: The OmniTek’s Ultra 4K Tool Box which provides and demonstrate the analysis, conversion, and generation of UHD-TV 4K video signals under both remote Web and local control. This has the latest 4k connectivity with high speed 12G-SDI interface that allow transport of 4K/60Hz video over a single SDI coax cable.
Real-Time Video Engine (RTVE) 3.1 for 4K Video Processing: This will display the Xilinx RTVE 3.1 reference design which incorporates OmniTek’s advanced video processor IP core, OSVP 2.0, and its video-targeted streaming DMA Controller IP core. One of the major importance of this demonstration is that it will be incorporated with high quality motion -adaptive de interlacing ,6 axis color space correction with noise reduction and image sharpening.It also takes the latest 4K video interfaces with 6G-SDI and DisplayPort 1.2 offered as part of the system level display processing design.

Barco Silex – Stand 10.D31a

Barco Silex yields Video over IP solutions with JPEG 2000 up to 4K and HEVC encoder on FPGA platforms. Barco Silex is the optimal partner for design service such as (ASIC, FPGA, SW and board) and has abundance IP cores for video and security applications.

intoPIX – Stand 10.D31d –

TICO Light-Weight Compression – This demonstration will display visually lossless HD/4K/8K up to 120Hz with compression rates of 2:1 and 4:1 utilizing the first IP core release available for Artix®-7 FPGA and Kintex®-7 FPGA implementations.
SMPTE 2022 / JPEG2000 Video over IP Reference Design on Xilinx KC705 Board – This demonstration will showcase intoPIX’s JPEG 2000 Ultra Low Latency codecs (less than 5ms for 1080p60) within a new SMPTE 2022 reference design.
