There is one more acquisition from Apple. They have acquired Booklamp. This BookLamp company has developed big data style book analytics services. From a source it is believed that the Apple has bought BookLamp`s employees and technology for more than $10 million and less than $15 million. One of the product from the BookLamp called as Book Genome project is popular.

The product Book Genome Project is a platform where users can find suggestion for books to read based on the natural language analysis of the other titles. This team of BookLamp will help Apple to improve their iBooks service with proper recommendations, search and categorization.

BookLamp`s CEO is Aaron Stanton and all the formal employees will not associate with Apple. The sale is now confirmed. Before the acquisition BookLamp has raised a capital of $900,000 from local bankers. We also heard that Amazon was also in talks with BookLamp. But that has not lead to any deal as such. Amazon has acquired GoodReads. The company has also displayed a message to their audience for continued support for their service.
