So Microsoft has officially already listed these 2 smartphones on their portal. Now we are waiting for these smartphones to be launched for the consumer. There are speculations that the phones might be launched today. So let us first get to know about these smartphones from Microsoft.
Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL Features
Let us start talking about the Microsoft Lumia 640. This dual SIM smartphone is having 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The phone is having a microSD card slot which can accomodate cards upto 128GB memory. The phone is supported by a 1.2GHz quad core processor. This si a Qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor. The phone has a 8MP AF rear camera. It also has a 0.9MP wide angle front camera.
The phone has a 5.1inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is equipped with WP 8.1 Lumia Denim. The phone has 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The phone has a battery capacity of 2500mAh.
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL has two variants. It is available with 3G or 4G LTE connectivity options. This is also a dual SIM smartphone running on 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core processor. The phone is running on WP 8.1 and is having a 5.7 inch clearblack IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
The phone is having 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage and can be expanded upto 128GB using a microSD card. the phone has a 13MP primary rear camera which has a LED flash. The phone has a 5MP front camera with wide angle technology. It has a battery capacity of 3000mAh.
