According to a research by the firm Statcounter, UC Browser has become the world’s biggest third party mobile browser with regard to the page view market share. The advancement has been prompted by its success in India and China, UC browser is now a step further in its faithfulness towards helping more and more consumers enjoy a suited and unrestricted experience of mobile internet.
UC Browser now the best third-party mobile browser in the world
The world’s No.1 third-party mobile browser states that when the end of 2014 was near, UC Browser achieved a market share of about 11.1%, attaining the 4th position for most popular mobile browsers after the likes of Safari, Android Browser and Chrome. But, the difference between UC Browser and the other three is that UC Browser is not a default app on iOS and Android, which makes it the world’s biggest third party browser.
Market Share in India of 41.23%
The result from the Statcounter reveals that UC Browser caught 41.23% of total number of mobile browser usage in the country, a 9% raise from the previous year. With regard to the Daily Active User (DAU), UC Browser initiated a huge growth of approx 50% in the second half of the previous year that is, 2014. UC Browser has gathered loyalty and approval from millions of people across the country.

Is growing rapidly in the Top 10 populous developing countries
Apart from India and China, UC Browser is growing rapidly in other developing economies like Pakistan which is world’s sixth-most-populous. UC Browser has experienced the success there by bagging the first rank in the mobile browser category of the year 2014. Till the end of 2014, UC Browser had already bagged 29.07% market share in the country.
Growing rapidly in other countries as well
In the country of Indonesia, the market share of UC Browser has grown rapidly from 7% in the year 2013 to approx 20 %( 19.7%) till the end of 2014. In terms of page views (PV), UC Browser has attained more than triple growth, disclosed by its internal data tracker. This means that increasing number of users are accessing UC Browser constantly everyday. Recently, UC Browser has become the top browser app at Google Play Indonesia. In Nigeria, UC Browser accounts for 13.14% share in the total mobile browser usage and in Bangladesh it accounts for 18.48% share. It has become the second biggest mobile browser in both the countries.

In Russia, the monthly active users of UC Browser have tripled in 2014. Page views have increased by 125% in the country in the same time period; this is an indication towards their achievement in the country. Also, it has become the top app at Google Play Russia. In Brazil, monthly active users of UC Browser have doubled, and the page views have risen by approx 50%.
Becoming the most used access point for mobile internet, UC Browser is on a road to long-term growth drive across the world.
