Library provides us with the best source of learning—books. Whether you’re a student or an adult just trying to fix a skill or learn a skill from scratch, library is the perfect solution to your distress. Also, in this era of technology when everyone prefers e-books and e-library compared to conventional library setup due to various reasons such as travel, accessibility and many, Minitex State Library has announced the expansion of its Electronic Library of Minnesota(ELM) where it offers LearningExpress LibraryTM, Job & Career Accelerator and Computer Skills Centers.
Minitex LearningExpress Library
The expanded version of library is mainly done to help individuals achieve their academic, career and personal ambitions and missions.
The academic support that LaerningExpress provide varies from different skill levels such basic, elementary school to scholarly college levels. Specifically speaking, the platform provides help in job search, resume building or writing tools, preparation tools for various tests such as GED, ACT and SAT with the help of computer and Internet tutorials such as Microsoft Word®, Excel®, and PowerPoint®, Adobe®, Photoshop® and Illustrator®; and much more. LearningExpress also helps users to access and download more than 1000 easy-to-understand tutorials, exercises and practice test.
The best catch here is that all these resources are available to users free-of-costs. Afterall, that’s what a library is for, isn’t it? Thus, all these resources are made accessible to all Minnesota residents either directly by ELM or with the help of schools, public, academic and state libraries.
Thus, Happy Reading, Minnesota, for the days to come.
