Flocasts gets $8 million funding from Causeway Media Partners


Flocasts is sports burgeon, based out of Austin, believes in connecting passionate audiences over the games they love. Recently Flocasts announced that a leading investor, Causeway Media Partners, has invested $8million as a fund. Causeway Media is an investment fund that focuses on sports media, entertainment and related companies.

Mark Wan, managing partner of Causeway MediaFlocasts was found way back in 2006, in order to serve severe sports fan that are often neglected by mainstream media by Brothers Martin and Mark Floreani along with Madhu Venkatesan. Flotrack, Gymnastike, Flowrestling and the newly launched Floelite are presently the four main focuses of Flocasts. Flocasts provides sports-followers with nation’s best events, orginal weekly web series, work-out series, and insider-doc in each of its focus.

Flocasts does target an audience growth to cross 10 million unique visitors per month in 2015. Along with that they also expect to expand into more growth and continue their exceesive growth in their chosen sports field. Additionally, they also host and create owned and live operated event which includes the official Beer Mile World Championship, Who’s #1: Wrestling competition, The Premiere League: Professional wrestling league.
