Intex is an Indian smartphones and IT accessories manufacturing company. India’s first Firefox OS running handset, the Intex Cloud FX was launched by the company in August 2014. Intex has come up with a new handset, the Intex Cloud Power Plus which offers a large battery life.

The new budget smartphone hits the market on May, 2015 competing with other huge battery phones like the Lenovo A5000 and Lava Iris Fuel 60. The large 4000mAh battery is probable to give a 17hrs talk time and 8hrs on 3G.
A 5” HD screen and a Mali T760-MP2 GPU is attached to the device. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor the Power+ also highlights 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android v5.0 Lollipop and comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and external expandable to 32GB via microSD. A 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera will give for a decent photographic experience.
The device is 8.6mm and weighs 156gms. The dual SIM feature phone has 3G enable in its first SIM card and not on the second. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, a gyroscope and a proximity sensor.
The Cloud Power Plus is exactly similar to the Intex Aqua Power Plus which also has a good battery life. The Power+ comes in black-sliver, champagne, black champagne and white champagne colours. The Cloud-series smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,599 and is available exclusively on Snapdeal.
