The P8 and P8 max share the same processor, the HI Silicon Kirin 64 bit 930/935 octa core (1.4GHz quad core + 2/2.2 Ghz quad-core). The GPU is Mali T628 MP4. Both phones come in 16 GB or 64 GB models, with no separate micro-SD slot. The two phones share most of their other features, like 3 GB RAM, and the 4160 x 3120 pixels, 13 megapixel Sony primary camera, with auto focus, OIS, and LED flash. Both phones have gorilla glass protection for the screens.
The P8 has a 5.2 inch JDI IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It comes with a formidable 8 MP secondary camera. The dimensions of the P8 are 144.9 x 72.1 x 6.4 mm (5.70 x 2.84 x 0.25 in). It runs on a non-removable 2680 mAh battery and weighs 144 g. The 16 GB P8 is available in Titanium Grey, Mystic Champagne colors, and the 64 GB model in Carbon Black and Prestige Gold.

The P8 Max has a JDI IPS LCD screen with a screen size of 6.8 inches. The screen resolution is same as the P8, 1080 x 1920 pixels. In addition to the 13 megapixel rear camera, the P8 Max has a 5 MP front camera. The dimensions of the P8 Max are 182.7 x 93 x 6.8 mm (7.19 x 3.66 x 0.27 in). It runs on a non-removable 4360 mAh battery and weighs 228 g. Luxurious Gold, Mystic Champagne, Titanium Grey are the colors available for the P8 Max.
Both the phones have two SIM card slots, both for nanoSIM. Key features the two phones possess are 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS and NFC. The looks of the P8 are very similar to the iPhone 6, except for a few port locations. The FHD screens seem good and sharp, although arguably not as good as Quad HD displays. Although the P8 and P8 Max come without a separate SD card slot, the second SIM card slot can be used as a micro SD card slot.
This makes the 64 GB model slightly redundant. The previously unheard of company Huawei is now the fourth- largest seller of smartphones in the world. The P8 and P8 Max are available in the market at EUR 500(33k approx.) and EUR 550(36k approx.) respectively.
