Amazon will introduce Private Labels

So Amazon will introduce new brand names into the market focusing on a particular set of products. These private labels will sell non perishable goods like laundry detergent and also from perishable goods like tea, coffee, baby food and spices. The brand names for the same will be Happy Belly, Wickedly Prime and Mama Bear.

Amazon is soon going to reveal about these brands by the end of this month. These products under these brand names will be available to the members of Amazon Prime. It is to be said that these products will be of good quality and at competitive pricing as well. This could be a good reason for the Amazon Prime members to use their membership of $99 per year to the fullest.

If we see the e-commerce giant Amazon is already using one of its private goods under the name Amazon Basics. So there are selling consumer electronics in it like the disposable batteries and also USB chords. They have also launched the multiple in house clothing brands.

This private label merchandising is not an easy way but will surely gain a long term traction as manufacturing and selling from the same company will surely give them more chunk of the profit. Though people already have their favourite brands to buy anything, so the shift from those brands to these new brands is what a consumer may or may not be comfortable with.
