The much awaited Samsung Galaxy Max is now ready to knock your doors. The handset runs on Android KitKat. It shows a 5.25 inch display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Samsung Galaxy A7 has been launched officially in Philippines for PHP (Philippines Peso) 24K which is approximately Rs.34000. The handset runs on KitKat with a RAM of 2GB on a 5.5 inch screen. A MSM8939 Octa core processor powers the Samsung Galaxy A7. The Galaxy A7 is powered by the usage of 2 x Quad core chipset Cortex A53 clocked at 1.5GHz and another at 1GHz – with Adreno 405 GPU.

With 2GB RAM, Galaxy A7 runs on the KitKat version 4.4.4. The Galaxy A7 comes with an internal storage of 16GB and supports a micro SD card with memory upto 64GB. Similar to all other premium Galaxy handsets, Galaxy A7 come with a 5.5 inches super AMOLED screen with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The rear is packed with an auto focus camera of 12MP with LED flash and the front is packed with a 5MP camera. The primary camera can be used to shoot videos at a resolution of 1080p.

The major features of the Galaxy A7 include 2G, 3G, 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It lends NFC support also. The Galaxy A7 is around 6.7mm thick and weighs 133 grams. It comes with a 2600 mAh built in Li-ion battery. The phone is not yet available in India. You can buy the phone from Philippines at Rs.34, 000.

Lenovo A6000 announced for $169 in CES 2015

Is this a season of budget friendly smart phones??! The next techie who stands in line flaunting its low budget Smartphone is Lenovo. Looks like Lenovo is unveiling quite a number of gadgets this season. Along with the Vibe X2 Pro and Lenovo P90, the Lenovo A6000 is being launched. At the CES 2015, Lenovo made this proud announcement.

The Lenovo A6000 gives us a 1GB of RAM and 8GN of internal memory. There are front and rear cameras with 8MP and 2MP respectively. A 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex –A53 processor renders power to the Smartphone. It also has a 5 inch 720p IPS display. The A6000 is also an “easy to carry” gadget weighing about 128 grams and is 8.2mm thick. Other than this the default smartphone priorities like that of the 4G, 3G, 2G , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS are all impeccably present.

Colin Giles, the senior vice president of the company mentioned that the release of this device is targeted towards the Indian buyers. He opined that a budgeted phone like this would suit the Indian buyers who wouldn’t take a chance of investing a huge portion of their income on a gadget.

Lenovo made its announcement in the CES stating that the smartphone would price around $169. It would be priced under Rs.10,000 in India and would be soon available in Flipkart.

So we all have a great reason to keep an eye on Flipkart now. Looks like this New Year has a lot in store for us. What do u say???
