A new octa core handset was listed on iBall’s official website, the Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus. The handset is powered by 1.4GHz cortex A7 Octa Core processor. The Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus runs Android KitKat with 16GB storage and 2Gigs of RAM. The price is not yet disclosed. The octa core chipset has also not been disclosed but it is most likely to be the MediaTek 1.4GHz with Mali 450 MP GPU.

This Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus is very light weight at 135 grams. The phone is 8.3mm thick. The Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus is packed with a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The handset is loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage – 7GB as phone storage and 6GB space for apps and the a microSD card upto 32GB can be used.

Like other octa core handsets, Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus comes loaded with a 13MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP on the front that supports video calling. The key features of iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus are 2G (EDGE / GPRS – class 12), 3G (21Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. The handset is powered by a 2250 mAh battery.

Webs-Den Octate launched for $490

The Smartphone Webs-Den Octate powered by Octa Core that uses the MediaTek MT6595T processor and is making use of KitKat out of the box. This handset has a 3GB RAM + 2GB of Swap / Burst RAM and the rear camera is of a resolution 20MP resolution. Webs-Den Octate contains the MediaTek MT6595T (Turbo) Octa core processor that is clocked at 2.0GHz to 2.5GHz. The architecture is a 32bit one combined with Power VR Rogue Hain 6230 GPU which was clocked at 750 MHz.

The handset that runs on Android KitKat will continue getting OS updates in the future. Webs-Den Octate is loaded with 3GB DDR3L (1600 MHz) devoted RAM and 2GB of vRAM. Users have an option between 32GB or 64GB internal E-MMC-2 storage. The handset is packed with a slot for microSD card. The handset can hold two SIMs (dual SIM) with 4G support (1800 / 2300). The thickness of the Smartphone is 9mm and the screen is 5.5 inch LTPS 3D LED s with WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200.

The screen of the Webs-Den Octate comes with a gorilla glass 3 protection. The rear auto focus camera of 20MP comes with a Carl Zeiss lens and there is also a front auto focus camera of 8MP that uses a Carl Zeiss lens. You can shoot 1080p videos with the camera and view slow motion videos.

The Webs-Den Octate4G soon to be available Smartphone has some major features like 2G, 3G, 4G,Wi-Fi HotKnot, creative HD audio 5.1 Dolby sound chip with SRS WOW effects / Bass – Treble booster, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with A-GPS / Y-GPS. Also, it has sensors- magnetic, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, hall and light.

The Webs-Den Octate 4G powered by 3450 mAh battery and with 32GB storage comes at a price of $490. Pre-booking for Webs-Den Octate has begun. Customers can now pre-order Webs-Den Octate at a price of 300 USD (Rs. 18700).

The quantity of the first shipment for India and Bangladesh is 1500 pre-ordered units. The customers who pre-order will get 3 months of extra warranty and a WEBS-DEN Swipe, Virtual Laser Keyboard which is priced at Rs. 6700 without paying a penny.
