Exciting world of Driverless cars: For or Against?

Technology changes drastically and billions of dollars are spent on research to find out what will work best in the future. Yes, the future technology is what all tech giants are looking forward to and tech enthusiasts like you and me are observing and analyzing what is coming up next in the tech industry.

Some of the recent tech advancements are VR Technology, Robots & automation, IoT, drones and driverless cars. These technologies are fascinating and we are going to be overwhelmed with the solutions to the problems these will bring into our lives. Upcoming technology is interesting and we are excited to see what is in store for us.

There have been many great inventions and talking about future, the driverless cars are one of the favourite discussions, which I would like to start with my opinion. In my recent Dubai tour, I saw driverless Metro trains running on time. I was amazed by this idea of driverless commutation. It really felt cool to ride in a public transport without any driver, though in metro rails it’s a bit safer as everything can be computerized. But what about driverless car ride on roads?

Well just imagine you sitting in a driverless car and just giving voice command to it and telling your desired location. The car does the rest! You just have to relax and enjoy your ride and the car will take you safely to the destination. This concept really seems to be very interesting and is surely ahead of time. There are tech giants working on driverless cars like Tesla and Google.

Some interesting facts about driverless cars:

Google`s Self Driving car has no steering wheel, no pedals.
These cars are going to be electric
Driverless cars will have a range of 100 miles
These will have cloud based communication

Recently, a Tesla Model S Car met with an accident. The car was set to auto pilot mode. The car dashed on to a white colored trailer. As per the research, the color of the trailer and bright white sunlight were identical for the camera. As the camera of the car was solely responsible for the calibration of obstruction, many people thought that the auto pilot mode of this car is not 100% safe yet and the driver still needs to keep an eye on the road.

As per a survey, 1.25 million deaths occur every year in road accidents mostly caused because of human error. With driverless cars this number can be tremendously reduced if the car is 100% safe of accidents where in the research is still going on. The Google`s self-driving car project seems to have made a great prototype. Unlike the Tesla model, there are many sensors in this car, which searches for obstacles in a particular radius.

I like the idea of driverless cars as this will surely help us save a lot of valuable time and in that time we can do our own work in the car. Also, these driverless cars will be better in their execution phase in coming years. However, the cost aspect will be a concern in the coming days for these cars. But with mass production, these will be affordable indeed.

Brainwavz M5 Review – Earphones for mild music and calling

Brainwavz had launched this device long time back. The necessity of earphones is a must for handsfree calling and for listening to great music. So does these earphones solve the purpose? Well let us find that out. We got an opportunity to use these headphones for a while and have explored it to the fullest.

Design

Well lets start from the box of the device. You can see the packaging of the earphones. So the earphones are visible in the box. In the first look when you unpack the device you will get to see that the earphone cable is very long. It is 1.3m. So a long cable which is really useful for tall people while carrying their smartphone when the earphones equipped and keeping the smartphone in their jeans pockets.

Talking about the comfort level of these earphones. These earphones when loaded into your ears, you will feel nice when you use the right size of silicone tips. There are many sizes available with the earphones. The build quality of the headphones seem to be good as we can see the metal housing. Though the strength of the cable is questionable. It is delicate for sure and needs to be handles with utmost care.

These earphones can be used straight down or also over the ear. They do provide moderate isolation when you wear it. There is also a microphone in this device useful for talking on calls. There is also a physical button to accept the calls and the user can even give voice commands to their smartphone using that button.

Performance

Talking about the real deal. I felt that these earphones are perfect for using while calling and with handsfree you can just keep working and talk with your loved ones with ease. Though while talking about playing music, at low volumes, the performance seems to be satisfactory for sure. While playing songs the bass is low and the lyrics can be heard quite easily.

At mid volume the treble seemed to be great but due to lack of enough bass you might feel a bit low on musical tracks. Though talking about vocals it provides good clarity indeed. High volume are never recommended for sure, but when you try to increase the volume after some point of time these earphones seem to be uncomfortable indeed. Though at low and mid volumes if you just want to enjoy the vocals and mild music then these earphones can be for you.

We used these earphones for calling and the performance was good. There is a microphone and the quality seems to be good. Many earphones don`t have high quality microphone but this earphone has nailed it.

Accessories

Now we had to add this section in the review because there are loads of accessories provided with these earphones. There are 6 pairs of silicone tips provided with the Brainwavz M5. These are available in small, medium and large. There is also a cable clip with the earphones in case to tuck the earphones on the shirt or any apparel. There is a warranty card provided with these earphones which is for 1 year.

A hard case is provided for the protection of the earphones while carrying them. The case is very good and the earphones will surely stay protected in it. Many other companies fail to provide a case with the earphones. We were happy to see that Brainwavz has taken care of it.

Final Verdict

These earphones are perfect for calling and good for listening to mild music. Though don`t expect much bass, but enjoy the vocals for sure. There are many good accessories which can tempt you to buy these earphones. If you want to use it for calling then go for it as the microphone will support your cause.

Setting up Salesforce Email to Case Functionality

Do you receive a number of mails to your support address and manage them via email folders and internal email distributions? Salesforce email to case functionality helps to better manage the inbound and outbound email communication flow related to the issues of customers. The process which helps in this direction is setting up of email to case functionality which comes under Setup> Customize>Cases>Email to case. Salesforce helps you to create an email routing address and your company support address can be forwarded to that. If you have multiple support address, multiple corresponding routing addresses are created.

Salesforce email to case functionality

When you forward your support email address to Salesforce routing address any email which were sent to your support address will create a new case in Salesforce automatically. This is one of the strongpoints of Salesforce email to case option. If the address of the contact is matching with the sender’s email address, the new case formed will be automatically linked to the contact and the account of the contact, as explained by WalkMe.

Email to case thread ID

The thread ID has to be included and should be set when you send email from a Case. This is important so that the reply from your customer does not create a new case and add to the existing case. The safer way is to include the thread id in both the subject and the body of the email.

The checkbox of ‘Notify Case Owners on new mails’ should be checked so that the case owner is notified when the customer replies back for the case. This function is important when there are many cases to manage and the customer delays the reply for the emails sent from cases.

Auto response rule

If you want to give an immediate acknowledgment to your customer after he has emailed you, the best way is to set up an auto-response rule. This can be done by going to Setup>Customize> Cases> Auto Response Rules. Another important point is that the From address should not be the same as the routing address and therefore the best practice is to use noreply@yourcompanyaddress.com as the From address. Note that the Salesforce email to case functionality does not require Service Cloud license and in fact it works with Professional edition too.

The native Salesforce email to case solution is not the only solution for streamlining customer communication. There are also some third part apps which can help in streamlining customer communication. Email to Case Premium (E2CP) is one of the good examples of such applications. But whether the Salesforce email to case function is managed natively or through a third party app, it is important and also needs to be done carefully in order to achieve the best possible results for streamlining customer communication. Communicating with the customer and resolving queries of the customers in the form of email is important and therefore email to case functionality should be learnt well and used well.

Asus Zenfone Max Review – Mega Battery and large internal memory

A new variant of the smartphone Asus Zenfone Max has been launched recently on 23rd May 2016. We got the opportunity to use it for a very long time indeed. So if you are looking for a smartphone at a budget of Rs.9,999 then you are reading the right review. You may expect amazing things from the analysis of this smartphone.

When we got to know about the know Zenfone “Max” then we get to know that this phone belongs to the Asus Zenfone series and the phone has some features which is MAX. Well to know what is Max in this device let us explore this smartphone.

Design

The phone`s design is similar to that of most of the Zenfone smartphones with some changes for sure. The Screen to body ratio is certainly good in the Zenfone Max. The back cover made me felt good as the back cover seems to be more better and provides some grip indeed.

The physical buttons are placed on the right hand side of the device. The volume rocker buttons are on right hand side and there is a lock/ON/OFF button placed.

There is a 3.5mm jack for the headphones on the top of the device. In the front we can see the front camera and sensors of the device. In the bottom, there is a microphone and a microUSB slot. The phone`s back side we can see the rear camera, with the LED flash.

There is ASUS branding below it. The texture of the back panel is good and it does make the phone look a premium device. The weight of the smartphone is 202g which is a bit heavy as expected due to huge battery.

Display

The display of the smartphone is of 5.5 inch. This is having a very crisp display. The display is easy to read even in bright sunlight. The display is bright and sharp. You can watch videos and play games with ease and enjoy the display of the smartphone. Playing games on this Full HD screen is enjoyment for sure.

Performance

This dual sim phone has 2 variants, these are having 2GB of RAM and 3GB of RAM. The phone with 2GB of RAM has a price of Rs.9,999 and the phone with 3GB of RAM has a price of Rs.12,999. Both the sim cards are microSIM. There is an improvement in this smartphone than its predecessor.

This phone is using the Snapdragon 615 processor. The phone has an Octa Core Processor. The device has a smooth Multi-Tasking experience indeed. The phone was used by us for a very long time.

We did`nt experienced any lags as such while switching between the apps. The phone has enough space for switching between normal apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc. The phone has an internal memory of 32GB and there can be usage of microSD card of upto 64GB.

Camera

The phone is having a 13MP rear camera. This phone is having a phone with LED flash. The device has a good camera with clear images as it is having a laser focus technology similar to that of the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. We clicked a lot of pictures with this camera in various modes. The camera clicks the photos with ease and fastness as the phone has good focus calibrating capability.

User Interface

This phone uses the latest Operating System which is Android Marshmallow. The phone has some unique battery optimization features. There are Google Now and App Permissions.

There are app permissions which ask a lot of queries before using anything. This gives a complete control of the app usage to the user. The Zen UI is used which is the same in all the Zenfone devices. So if you were an earlier Asus user you will get accustomed to it with ease.

Battery

This is like the show stopper feature of this smartphone. The phone has a battery capacity of 5000mAh. With moderate and normal usage I was able to use this smartphone for 2 days after full charge. It is very useful and an Android phone having the charging for minimum 2 days is just amazing.

Also the weight of the phone is not that heavy. So it is like a mini powerbank only. There is a procedure for reverse charging as well. So you can connect an OTG cable to this device and then connect a microUSB cable to this phone to any other device for charging that device.

So you can use this smartphone as a power bank. Though there is a a lack of Quick charge feature. To charge the smartphone of 5000mAh it does take a lot of time(upto 4 hours).

Final Verdict

This is a nice smartphone with good battery, internal memory of 32GB, performance and camera. The phone`s price is also affordable indeed. One of the best phones in this budget. Will surely get added to our list of best phones under Rs.10,000. Buy it if you want the above features at the desired price.
