A new smartphone had launched by Samsung named as Samsung Galaxy Note7 in India. This was a smartphone which the company was relying to capture a decent amount of the market share. The company has high hopes on their high end devices. But unfortunately Samsung has to delay their sales in India.
Samsung Galaxy Note7
The phone had some battery issues. The battery of Note 7 blasted in some of their smartphones. So they had to make this decision of stopping the sales in India. There were 35 cases reported as of 1st September 2016 of explosion of batteries.
The company might investigate the problem and is issuing new units to the users whom the handsets were delivered in the upcoming weeks. This issue has affected the overall sales sumbers for the Samsung Galaxy Note7. This issue will be fixed soon as we can see the sales resuming of this device.

Already 2.5 million Samsung Galaxy Note7 units were shipped worldwide before the company announced about the battery issue. This might have caused a huge financial setback to the company indeed.
This loss is not at all small acording to analysts, the total loss of the company Samsung may occur for this issue will be around $1 Billion. As per the sources this loss is just 5% less than the net income of this tech giant which is projected for next year.
