There is a need for multi-tasking these days. To support a high level of multi tasking there should be a big and better memory kit in your computer. We are talking about the memory kit for the PCs. The main problem for any of the user is to increase the work capability and do more work in the less resources. But what if you increase the resources and just upgrade the existing ones to make sure that they work well to serve your purpose.
Kingston HyperX Savage 2x4GB RAM
A memory kit of two 4GB modules might make your PC faster than what a 1GB module can do., There are 2 memory slots in the CPU(most of them). So why not utilize the memory space and use both of them to give optimum output. These memory modules will help you to work faster and will save your time. Recently we had reviewed the Kingston HyperX Fury SSD of 240 GB which is used for high file transfer speed.
Let us talk about the design of this memory module from Kingston.
Design
It is believed that the design is an integral and one of the most important aspect for any gadget or product. Not only the aesthetic looks are important, but the parameters which help the device to perform well in the best of its capabilities will make it a better use to the system. The red color looks fantastic for this device. Though it is going to go right inside your CPU, still the looks of the memory kits are superb.
It does have unique design. The Red color looks superb for this memory kit. We can see the red heat spreader which is made fro high quality aluminum. The heat spreader helps to dissipate the heat. The design is made in such a way that it remains cool. These memory kits can be easily fit into the motherboard`s DIMM socket. It has a 240 pin interface.
Performance
The memory kit which we reviewed were of 4GB each. So together they provide a decent 8 GB memory for high multi-tasking. The frequency speed of the device which we reviewed was of 1866MHz. The CAS latency is CL9-CL11. The memory kit is compatible with a lot of cho9psets right from the popular H67,H97 intel chipsets and various AMD chipsets as well.
The memory kit is overall good in performance and has good overclocking potential. We did a AIAD64 benchmark test for the RAM. The reading speed which was clocked to 26854 MB/s, Writing speed was 27368 MB/s while the copy speed recorded were 24794 MB/s. These speeds are though not the very best from a 8GB RAM but still we can say that they are competitive enough.
Final Verdict
We give full points to the design of the RAM. The device looks aesthetically very nice and the heat dissipation is taken care of. Performance was good but not the best available in the market. We believe that it is worth the price for sure.
