Design
This smartphone is easy to hold in the hand. There are rounded edges at the corner of the phone. It does have a metallic look altogether. There is a texture design at the back of the smartphone which makes it easier to hold the device. On front side we can see the display. There is a notification LED above the screen. Then there is a earpiece and a front camera.
Volume rocker buttons and the power/lock button is placed on right hand side of the device. There is a 3.5 mm jack on top of the phone. There is a microUSB port and the loudspeaker grill around it. On backside we can see the rear camera accompanied with flash. There is honor logo just below the camera. When we remove the back panel, we can see the 2 micro SIM slots, one microSD card slot and a non removable battery. This phone looks professional, not too elegant or classy though.

This phone has a 5 inch HD IPS display. The phone has decent viewing angles. There isn`t much protection for the glass though. But the company is giving a one month screen replacement warranty for the users.

Software
This phone is using Android 5.1 with the custom EMUI 3.1. There are many customizations which you can do using this User Interface. In this UI we can see that when we touch the Recent Apps button rather than the vertical stacking of apps, we can see that the apps are shown in card layout.
The user has a choice of selecting the Protected apps. This means that you can select the apps which you want when the screen is off or running at the backend. There is also a different appstore named as AppGallery. There are pre-installed apps like Facebook, Clean Master, Instagram, WPS Office and UC Browser in this smartphone.
Camera
Honor Holly 2 Plus has a 13MP rear camera. The photos are good in daylight. Videos can be captured in 720p only using the camera of the smartphone. Though not much impressed by the camera, though it just serves the purpose of clicking photos. In the camera app there are shooting modes like Panorama, HDR, Audio note and Watermark where in date and location stamp can be made on the photograph.
Connectivity
This phone is having Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and GPS connectivity options. There is also OTG compatibility where there is also an option for reverse charging. Which means that you can charge other phones using the OTG cable.
Battery
This device is having a massive 4000mAh battery capacity. There is a fast charging feature too. So in just one hour and few minutes the whole smartphone gets charged. There is ultra power saving mode for this smartphone. Battery performance was good for Honor Holly 2 Plus.
Final Verdict
When we talk about features, this phone has certainly missed few parameters like Full HD recording capability and scratch resistant layer for the display. Though a good battery life for the smartphone is a great point for the buyer. At this price it does makes itself competitive with other phones. If you want a sturdy smartphone will decent features and good battery life this phone can be yours. It is priced at INR 8,499.
