Datawind captures 20.7% market share

So talking about the market share in tablet sales of Q4 2015 in India, Datawind has 20.7% of total sales. It is the leader in the tablet category in terms of sales in the past quarter in India. Then it is later followed by Samsung 15.8%, Micromax 15.5%, Lenovo 13.8% and iBall 10%. The Datawind company`s sales have got a nice growth indeed according to IDC, it was 8.2% in 2015.

Now when we speak about the sub Rs.5,000 category/segment, DataWind has 58% of market share in this category. The tablets sales are growing in this category. They have been doubled since 2014. So we can see that many people are buying the tablets at this price for sure.
The main task is to get the best in least, that is what we focus on talking about. Various devices from DataWind are bundled with unlimited internet access for a year. This helps the user to enjoy hassle free internet for a year with the tablet. I guess this has been the secret key of success for the DataWind company.
They are using a patented technology which reduces upto 97% of data used for web browsing. This is great as people like to surf a lot and if less data is consumed then it is a win win situation for the user. According to CEO of DataWind, Suneet Singh Tuli, they want to make available low cost devices with internet across many people.
