As expected the new year arriving. Also it is the time to look back and find many things which happened in technology. There are a lot of things. Many people talk about the good things. I will talk about the biggest flops of 2013 in the tech industry. You can guess it and I do believe that you will agree. Well then by not wasting further time, lets discuss the things.

Biggest Tech Flops of 2013
1. XBOX One
The Xbox launches the device with a lot of hype and passion. But people did not liked the product. The console was a superflop and the devices were not even sold even after offering hefty discounts. The major reason seems to be their competitor. The best and the dangerous competitor of this console is Sony`s Playstation 4. This console got all the benefit from the preview success of PS3. So if XBox had the previous success then they could had dominated the market.
2. BlackBerry
This company is getting nightmares from a long time. Their products are failing. People have lost faith on the BlackBerry phones. These phones were known as the classic business phones. But what made them kicked out of the market? The basic reason was the introduction of Android OS. It changed the market and the smartphone market boomed. The smartphones having Android OS were sold like hot cakes. But the BlackBErry phones were doomed. They are unaware of how to sustain and grow their business. Now also they do not have any clue of how to grow and make a positive impact in the market.
Failed strategy of BBM
They tried launching BBM into Android and iOS for free. The service for which people used to buy the BlackBerry devices is now available for free on Android and iOS. The BBM had dominated the IM(Instant Messaging) Market 2 years back. But now the scenario has changed completely. You all know the reason. It is none other than the epic success of WhatsApp. People now use WhatsApp with easy to be close with their dear one with ease. So there is no need of another complexity by using another IM. So some people like did`nt even bothered to use the BBM on Android or iOS. So it was a complete failure strategy.
