LG Fx0 transparent mobile running Firefox OS announced

We’ve been tired of discussing KitKat versions of mobiles, lets peep into Firefox for a change. Mozilla and KDDI have announced Japan’s firefox based smartphone the Fx0. LG would be the proud owner of this firefox handset. The handset encompasses not only good software to keep it running but also a diligently designed hardware. If you wouldn’t believe us, you can see it yourself!! You wonder how?? Well, the Fx0 is presenting itself in a transparent case. This transparency is a style statement by itself. After all, showing a little skin isn’t a sin!

Other than this, the Fx0 resembles the LG G3, except that it is smaller than the latter. The Fx0 would have a 4.7 inch display and is presumed to have a pixel resolution of 1280×720, although there is no credible information about it. The LG Fx0 is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 400 quad core MSM8926 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It also contains 1.5 GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. When we talk about internal storage we couldn’t be missing on the device’s micro SD support which holds up to 64GB. The rear and front cameras of 8 MP and 2.1 MP respectively are present.

Being the first of its kinds in FireFox handsets, the Fx0 has all the key features we would check out for like 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth. This phone weighing about 150 grams derives its power from a 2370 mAh battery.

Now before you start imagining how this glamorous transparent Fx0 would look in your hands, let me tell you that it is being released only in Japan for an Indian equivalent of Rs.26, 000. It is also opined that Japanese handsets are seldom being released in other countries. But we never know who will get “inspired” by LG’s “transparency”!!! If you already have ideas about this, shoot them to us and we would be glad to talk more about this.

Rumor: Xiaomi Arch will be World’s First Dual-Edge Display Smartphone

Not all rumors are bad.  We do wish some of them to be true like this one. Xiaomi is believed to be working on a dual edged phone. With the word “edge” in its name, we can relate that it would look more like Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Rumor: Xiaomi Arch

Xiaomi Arch

GizmoChina’s reports revealed that the Xiaomi Arch would have curved screens on both sides. If at all the news wasn’t a rumor, the Xiaomi fraternity can raise its collars, calling themselves the first to launch such a device. What keeps us blank is that, the source of the report is unknown. All we could infer is that, the Xiaomi Arch edge would be functioning more like Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The poster shows us 3 buttons at the bottom with few notifications in the edges. It appears to be a large screen phablet and is said to be designed with sapphire glass display. (What else can we possibly infer from a mundane poster!?)

It was also said that the company had ordered around 50,000 sapphire covers.

Coming to the technical specifications, the supposedly Mi 5 or Mi 4S smartphone would be having 5.7 inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display. The processor would be of a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 types and the storage specification is that it would have 3GB of RAM. It would also be designed with a 20.7 megapixel rear camera.

But that’s not the end of the story. With respect to the specifications of the much awaited Xiaomi MiPad tablet, which would called (we expect so!) MiPad 2 is said to be comprising of an Intel chipset (1.8GHz) in the place of an Nvidia Tegra SoC as seen in MiPad. Other than this, the MiPad 2 will have 7.9 inch display with a 2048×1536 pixel resolution. There would be 2GB of RAM  and 16 GB of built in storage with Android 4.4.4 KitKat version.

Well, don’t frown at this uncertainty, what if this really comes up?? Technary would once again be at your service to tell the device’s Pros and Cons. So WAIT AND WATCH!!!
