Samsung has launched 2 new handsets. These are the 2016 version of Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7. They are both priced at Rs.13,990 and Rs.15,990.
Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 Features
This smartphone has a 5.2 inch display with Super AMOLED screen. The screen resolution of the display is 1280 x 720 pixels. This phone has an Android 5.1 with 2G of RAM and it has a 16GB of internal memory. There is also a microSD card support of upto 128GB in the phone. It is equipped with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quadcore processor with Adreno 306 GPU.
The phone has a weight of 159g and the battery capacity of the phone is 3100mAh. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and there is a 5MP front camera with LED flash.
Other features are 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. The Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 is priced at Rs.13,990.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 has a 5.5 inch display with super AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla glass 4 protection. The screen resolution of the device is 1280 x 720 pixels.
The device runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. It is having 2GB of RAM, 16GB in built memory and microSD card support of upto 128GB. The phone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera with flash support. This phone is equipped with a 1.6GHz Samsung Exynos 7870 Octa Core Processor.
The phone has a battery capacity of 3300 mAh. The thickness of the phone is 7.8mm and the weight of the device is 170g. The other features of this phone are 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, NFC, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1. This phone is priced at Rs.15,990. There is another Bike mode which is interesting to use.
I liked the bike mode of J7. will buy the phone only because of that feature.
Yes Kiran that feature is liked by many people. But I do feel that there are dedicated apps for bike riding.
i dont see drastic change in their previous year models. samsung needs to make phone available at less price with more features.
