Oppo launched a new smartphone in an event in Mumbai. We had witnessed this event and we got to use this device for a short time. So we will actually share our opinions about Oppo F1 First impressions in detail. This phone is launched at a price of Rs.15,990. The company also announced about another handset which will be launched in April. I am talking about the Oppo F1 Plus which will be priced at Rs.26,990.
Clicking selfies is fun and there are already some phones available in the market which are focused on this feature. Oppo also has launched a new smartphone which is focused on clicking good selfies. They call it as Selfie Expert. So this phone seems to be an ideal phone for clicking selfies. When we used the phone we got to know about many features and details, some of them were surprising and interesting as well. Let us have a look at the features of Oppo F1.
Display
This phone is having a 5 inch display. It is also having 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The screen resolution of the display is 1280×720. It is a HD screen with 293.72 PPI(pixels per inch). This display supports 16 million colors, it is multi-touch capacitive screen. The display is also capable of gloved and wet touch input. Though we have not yet tested this feature.
Design
The lock/power button is on the right hand side of the device. Volume rocker buttons are on the left side of the phone. The phone is light weight and does look premium. There is a light band edge design. There are light band edges at the corners of the phone. Dimensions of this device are 143.5 x 71 x 7.25 mm. The weight of the device is 134g. This phone is available in golden and color rose color variants.
Memory
This phone is having a 16GB in built memory. There is a microSD card slot in which a microSD card of upto 128GB is supported. This device is having 3GB of RAM. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa core processor. It is also accompanied with Adreno 405 GPU.
Software
There is a new Color OS2.1 which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1 used in this device. As per the company this OS is able to open the apps in just 311ms. Also the boot speed is increased by 30% as per the company.
Camera
This phone is having a 13MP rear camera. There is a 8MP front camera for clicking selfies. There is flash for the rear camera. The rear camera is capable of capturing 1080p videos. The front camera is having f/2.0 aperture. Also the fun feature is that if you start the front camera and say “cheese” a count down starts of 3 seconds and a selfie is captured. Also you can wave your hands in front of the camera to capture a selfie.
Connectivity
This is a dual sim phone. One is a micro sim slot and nano sim slot. It is having Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and OTG connectivity options.
Battery
It has a non removable battery with 2400 mAh capacity.
