LG has today launched their flagship smartphone LG G6. This smartphone looks like a competition for the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S8. LG G6 is priced at Rs.51,990 in India. This device will be exclusively available online from Amazon India and will be available from offline stores from April 25.

LG G6 Features
Design
The device has a metal body and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This phone will be available in 2 color variants which include Astro Black and Ice Platinum. The weight of the phone is 163g and dimensions are 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm. It passes the MIL-STD 810G military standard certification of durability. This phone is an IP68 water and dust resistant. There is a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel. It has 80 percent screen to body ratio.
Display
The phone has a massive 5.7 inch QHD+ display with 1440 x 2880 pixels of screen resolution. The phone has FullVision display with almost a bezel-less front. It has an amazing 2:1 aspect ratio. Device comes with DolbyVision HDR certification and Corning Gorilla glass 3.
Memory
This smartphone uses the 14nm Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC Processor. Four cores run at 1.6GHz and rest 4 cores function at 2.1GHz. This phone has a massive 4GB of RAM. There will be two variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal memory. Though LG India will sell only the 64GB model. There is a microSD card slot for expandable storage of upto 2TB. It uses Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System.

Camera
There are dual cameras at the back. It comes with two 13MP sensors one for the wide angle shots with 125 degree lens and f/2.4 aperture. The other one is for regular shots with 71 degree lens and f/1.8 aperture. The camera has OIS 2.0(Optical Image Stabilization), PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and EIS(Electronic Image Stabilisation).
There are interesting modes like the Square Camera mode for social media sharing size photos. There is another interesting mode called as multiview mode which has both front and rear camera views at the same time. The rear camera comes with Hi-Fi Video Recording as well. There is a front camera of 5MP with wide angle 100 degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity
The phone has Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, 4G LTE, WiFi and USB Type C 2.0. Device has Hi-Fi Quad DAC(Digital to Analogue converter) for better audio playback with Hi-Fi Audio Recorder.
Battery
It contains a non removable battery of 3300mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
