Asus India has launched 2 new notebooks in the market. These are the Asus R558 and the Asus A540. The Asus R558 is priced at Rs.43,990 and the Asus A540 is priced at Rs.26,799. Let us have a look at the features of these notebooks.
Asus R558 Features
This note book is having a screen of 15.6 inch with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with free DOS. So the user has to pay to install Windows 10. The notebook uses a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 6200U processor. There is also a HD Graphics 520 and NVIDIA GeForce 930MX (2GB) graphics card.

Notebook has 4GB of RAM and 1TB of SATA HDD. There is an upgrade option for the RAM of upto 8GB. This device has one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, USB 3.1 Type C port, VGA port, SD card reader, HDMI and a VGA camera. there is also a RJ45 port and mic/audio combo jack with built in speaker and microphone.
There is a 2 cell Li-ion battery in this notebook. The price of the Asus R558 is Rs.43,990.
Asus A540 Features
This notebook is having a 15.6 inch LED display with 1266 x 768 pixels. The notebook is using a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 4005U processor with HD graphics 440. This notebook has 4GB of RAM and this can be upgraded to 8GB as well.

There is 1TB of SATA HDD for the user. The notebook comes with free DOS. There is one USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type C, one USB 2.0, RJ45, SD card reader, VGA port, VCA front camera and there is a combo Mic/audio port and built in microphone and speaker.
