Amazon has launched a new device into the Indian market. They have a new addition to their Fire TV Stick series. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Let us have a look at the features of this device.

This is an upgraded version of Fire TV Stick 4K. It comes with faster experience and next generation WiFi 6 connectivity. It is the first device in the Fire TV Stick to have Dolby Vision format support.
As per the brand it is said to be 40% more powerful than its predecessor. It is powered with Quad Core MediaTek MT8696 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and comes with 2GB RAM and IMG GE8300 GPU at 750MHz. It comes with 8GB of internal storage.

Dimensions of this device are 99 x 30 x 14 mm and has weight of 48.4g. It weighs lighter than Fire TV Stick 4K which is 53.6 g in weight.
It has MediaTek MT7921LS chipset for WiFi 6 connectivity. This will able to provide smoother streaming without any lag, although you need a compatible router to access the WiFi 6 support. It also has Bluetooth v5.0 for pairing with devices like headphones, bluetooth speakers and video game controllers.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K had 1.5GB RAM and Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max has better 2GB RAM. Also another major change is the support for Dolby Vision. There is also support for other formats like HDR10 and HDR 10+. There is also support for Dolby Atmos for immersive sound experience which is compatible on select content and compatible TV.
Another feature which we liked is the 3rd generation Alexa Voice Remote. It has dedicated buttons for quickly accessing Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Amazon Music. This remote will also give access to all your installed apps.
Another important support of Live View feature is present in this device. It is able to run picture-in-picture feed of video doorbells and security camera of the user while playing their content on the TV. Live view feature works with selected smart home and security equipment and is also available on Fire TV cube.
It is available for a price of INR 6499 for pre-order on Amazon India website. Also it will be available in selected malls in the country from October 7th. It is already available for pre-order in USA for a price of $59.99.
