Samsung has unveiled a new tablet named as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris. This tablet is having a unique feature which we will discuss later. The tablet is launched for a price of Rs.13,499. Let us have a look at the features of this tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris Features
This tablet is using a 7 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels of screen resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad Core Processor with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and microSD card support.
The tablet is having a a 5MP AF rear camera and is having dual Iris cameras. This is a heavy device weighting 327g. The tablet uses a non removable battery of 3600mAh capacity. The connectivity features include 2G, 3G, GPS, WiFI and Bluetooth 4.1.

Special Feature – Aadhar Recognition
This device is capable of verification of a person`s identity. So when the user enters Aadhar ID, there are dual eye scanners on the rear camera which are able to scan the users eye. Then the data is arrived from the user and cross checked with the Aadhar servers and the user can be verified. This is a Biometric technology used in the tablet which is UIDAI compliant.
The tablet gives the power to a user to identify a person with their Aadhar number and eye testing with ease.
