This is a new gadget from Sony. It is a bit awkward, a bit useful, might not be value for money. But lets start knowing about this gadget. So is it similar to iPad or an e-book reader. I guess they tried to make a combination of both. But is it useful, if yes then for whom? So let us see its features.

Sony Digital Paper Features

It is a 13.3 inch tablet. This is also called as A4 size or the letter size so it is huge. It is like taking out a little less from my laptop screen. The digital paper is mainly targeted for the legal professionals who on a daily basis read a lot of documents. I will call this as a note-taking device. There is a flexible e-ink display is good.

The active digitizer touchscreens and the optical touch will allow the stylus and finger inputs with ease. The files are also saved in the repository form where it can be shared. The most annoying thing about this tablet`s software is that it only supports PDFs. It also lacks an E-mail client which is a huge downsign.

The device also supports the 2.8 GB of Flash storage, MicroSD card, 1600 x 1200 resolution display. Also the battery lasts for 3 weeks as said by the company. The device is 358 grams heavy. Which is less than that of the iPad air. The device will be sold in the US market in May for $1,100.
