We had an opportunity to witness a huge international launch event by ASUS. This event was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Apart from Media, there were Zen Fans and ASUS dealers who were invited for this event. It was a grand event as multiple devices were launched in this festival. We will go through a tour of the ASUS ZenFestival. This event had taken place on 6th August 2015. Our whole experience will be not only about the event but about the gadgets or devices which were launched by the company.
ASUS ZenFestival 2015
It was all set for a grand international event at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. Many media people were invited from various parts of the country. Also the dealers of ASUS devices were invited for the event. This encouraging brand also invited ASUS ZenFans. These fans are the people who use ASUS devices, youngsters from the Delhi colleges. This was an international event and the stage was set.
As you can see the event organizers had made provisions for the queues for the audience while entering the stadium. So for Media there was a paper wrist band which was labelled with the Festival name. As we entered the stadium premises, it seemed to be a gala time. The event was in the afternoon at 2.30pm. So at this time people were enjoying themselves doing numerous things. There were guys who were inking Tattoo on the hands of audience. There was music going on. Various props were kept. So you get equipped with them and get clicked by the photographers. To our surprise there were alike artists who look like Amitabh Bacchan, Salman Khan and Sharukh Khan.
It was complete gala time for the people. Finally the doors of the auditorium were open and crowd started settling in. The stage was set and there seemed to be huge preparations of various artists along with the numerous gadget launches. The grand stage was set and the expectations of the audience were rising. Then came the countdown of 10 seconds and the energetic crowd was going applauding.

The anchor of the event Cyrus Sahukar was a very much enthusiastic. With a few jokes and light hearted welcome to the audience the event started. A performance by a group of acrobat drummers was just amazing. The drums were decorated by LED and there was a good music created by the troupe. On the stage there were drummers who were suspended through ropes. This was a very much intriguing performance and with the drum roll the event started.
ASUS chairman Jonney Shih welcomed the audience and unveiled the three new smartphones. These were ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser and ASUS Zenfone Selfie. Bold and dynamic Jonney explained about the numerous features of these handsets. He actually compared some of the features of these devices with other flagship phones from other companies. Some of the features of these devices were very appealing.
After few artistic performances by international artists, there came the diva. Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha came to the stage and the audience was on the edge of the seats. Suddenly the atmosphere in the auditorium became more energetic. The actress along with the Product Design Head from ASUS unveiled the ASUS ZenFone Selfie. Sonakshi actually talked about how important is to take a Selfie a girl/woman`s life and how this phone will help you to click some perfect selfies.

So the live selfies were demonstrated with the amazing front camera with flash in the Asus ZenFone Selfie smartphone. The selfies clicked were crystal clear. She engaged the audience talking about the new smartphone. Later another set of gadgets were unveiled. These were the Asus ZenFone Max, ZenPad 7.0 and the ZenPad 8.0. So all the features of these devices with prices unveiled at the event.
It was like showering of loads of new devices in the event. Many ASUS comapany`s key team members were present at the event. They came from Taiwan for this event. this shows how important they think is to come close to their customers via such events. The features of the new devices were staggering. There were few devices which outclass other smartphones in the market just on some features.
ASUS also unveiled various accessories. They unveiled a premium fashion accessory for the ASUS ZenPad. It acts like a flip cover for the Pad. Asus ZenCase was also revealed where in you can get stylish back panels for your Asus smartphones. Asus LolliFlash is one of the fascinating device which got launched in the event. We liked this device a lot. We have got it from the company. So the function of this Lolliflash is to provide a good flash which is 10x better than the normal LED flash of a smartphone.
So while taking selfies this small but useful accessory will be helpful for the user to get good brightness while clicking selfies. You just have to keep it in the 3.5mm jack of your smartphone and it acts as a front flash for your smartphone. So yes that was a necessity for a lot of individuals and the company has helped in giving a solution to their customers. So rapping up the festival these accessories were unveiled and it was indeed a good amount of innovation which is used in these devices.
