Do you think that one wish can inspire another? Watching the video, I would definitely agree. With social media, we are always connected, always watching what our friends and family are doing. While they may be far away physically, with technology everyone is just a phone call, video call or message away!
A fellow blogger, Nabanita talked about how she missed her family and how the Apple iPad Air helped bring them closer together. So I got to thinking…what has been a wish I’ve been dying to fulfill for a long time. It might seem simple to some, but it’s something that has been on my mind a long time. I’ve always wanted to capture the changing cloud formations in the sky.
As a blogger, I get a lot of devices to experience and I finally got one that made my wish come true!
When I was younger, one of my favorite activities was to sit on the roof of my apartment and watch the morning sun play hide and seek with the clouds that pass by. This was the time before camera phones and even digital cameras. I had an old point and shoot film camera and I used to try and capture the entire morning through 36 shots. Then I would have to pester my parents to take me to the photo lab and then wait…for the photos to come out.
Some days they would capture the spirit of the clouds- the changing colours of the sky. But I always felt there was something I missed.
When I got the Apple iPhone 6, I happened to be visiting my parents. While the rest of the house of sleeping, I went up the stairs to my favorite perch upon the roof. The sun wasn’t up yet so I got into position and waited. Then with a tripod borrowed from a friend and with the time lapse feature- my wish finally came true. I was able to capture the childlike play of the morning sun and the mighty clouds that scraped through the skies singing their song of joy. I sat that evening comparing my timelapse with pic I used to take when I was young- it really felt like a lifelong dream had come true! #AbHarWishHogiPoori
