After the Milky Way Galaxy, the best known galaxy is the Samsung Galaxy. I hope none would deny this fact. To re-iterate this, Samsung has now unveiled in Mumbai 4 new galaxy series smart phones. Being a personal addict of the Samsung galaxy, I’m all the more thrilled to tell you more about it.

Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, E5 and E7

We’ve known that Samsung had always had its own range both in performance and in price. Now hold your breath!! With the launch of A3 and A5, Samsung is now trying to fit itself in the mid price range of Rs 20,500 to Rs.25, 500. On the other hand, it would be giving away the E5 and E7 for a price of Rs.19, 300 to Rs. 23,000.

Looks like Samsung has not gotten out of the Galaxy Alpha design from its mind. The new series also follows the same metal rims along the sides. The Samsung Series (A3, A5, E5, E7) comes with Super AMOLED display and all of them are powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core processor.

The A3 has a 4.5 inch display. It comes along with a front and rear cameras of 8MP and 5 MP respectively. Talking about the storage, it has 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage and 64 GB external card support. It weighs about 110 grams and it is 6.9 mm thick. The A3 derives power from a 1900 mAh battery and it comes for a price of Rs.20, 500. All the default features of a typical “galaxy” like 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, NFC(in LTE mode), Bluetooth and GPS are present.

Now, the A5 is more like a first-cousin of the A3 with minor changes. It weighs about 123 grams and is 6.7 mm thick. The screen is about 5 inches with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The memory and storage are very much the same like that of the A3, except that it possesses 2 GB of RAM. It houses a 13 Mp rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The handset is one which is 4G supportive and gets power from a 2300 mAh battery. The handset would fall in the price range of Rs.25,500.

Next in line is the E5 handset. It has a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution. Weighing about 125 grams, it is 7.3 mm thick. The storage is an exact replica of the A3 handset. It has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. It is 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS supportive. The handset comes with 2400 mAh Li-ion battery within a range of Rs. 19,300.

The last in the list is the E7 set. It is very much like the former sets which had been described. It has a 5.5 inch screen with HD resolution. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 64 GB card support. It consists of 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras respectively. It has all the connectivity features like the other sets and is powered by a 2950 mAh battery. It comes for a price of Rs. 23,000.

With this wide range of Samsungites available, I’m more than curious to check them out!!! Looks like the E7 and E7 would be available from 20th of January 2015, whereas the A3 and A5 will be made available by next week. Isn’t this great news!?

For all the Samsung lovers out there… remember you all have a moral obligation of updating us more about the features you liked the best in this galaxy series. We are waiting to hear from you!
