In a Press conference in their new office in Pune, India they unveiled about their expansion plans in India. We had attended this event where Parallel Wireless expands to a new office in Pune, India.

The new office in Pune is having a large space of 31,200 sq ft which will help them to increase the headcount to 40%. The unbelievable growth of 50% year on year of the company as per the officials will get a boost by the new staff. The company is software defined and is focused on OpenRAN solutions for 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G for mobile operators across the globe. The company is registered in USA and 50% of their workforce is from India.
The teams in India comprise of Design and Development majorly. With the use of Parallel Wireless OpenRAN solutions mobile operators are able to reduce the cost of their operations by upto 30%. This is a great advantage to the mobile operators indeed. This Pune Office will have three major departments. These are Development Center, Quality Assurance and Customer Support.
Parallel Wireless is focused on developing low cost solutions in OpenRAN for the mobile operators. They have existence in 6 continents and have clients which include Telefonica, MTN, Vodafone, etc. They have also Research and Development team in India. They also own various patents in this technology. This is a funded company backed by investors and the numbers weren’t disclosed by the company in the press conference.
This office space and the new staff will help this phenomenal growth of 50% year on year for the company. Officials said that the company is having a very low attrition rate of 2-4% which is very less and good as per industry standards. The new Pune Office is located in Baner-Pashan Link Road above Star Bazaar. Mobile Operators will get more better service with such OpenRAN solution providers.
