Microsoft has announced that they are going to offer the latest version of Windows i.e. Windows 10 free to the Raspberry Pi users. Microsoft is getting excited in the Internet of Things(IOT) and they believe that the Raspberry Pi users can utilize the OS for creating some great work.
Microsoft Windows 10 Free for Raspberry Pi users
On the other hand Raspberry Pi Foundation has launched a new microprocessor called as Pi 2. In this processor a quad core chip is added to double the memory. While the price tag of $35 will be the same for the processor. They call it a entry level PC which is available for a price of just $35. Now the Raspberry Pi users have options of using the Microsoft Windows 10 OS or the Linus operating systems.

By this step it is for sure that Microsoft want to be more developer friendly and is ready to offer their OS for free to build a relation with the Raspberry Pi users. In last month Windows 10 was announced and this is a very great news for the Raspberry users.
