A couple of years back Google had launched the Jump VR platform which uses a cloud based software & smart stitching algorithms. These are created for making the 360 video creation easier and better than the existing solutions. They have now launched a new product called as Yi Halo. Yi Halo Features
This device is built in collaboration with Yi Technology. The price of this device is $16,999. This camera has 17 different Yi 4K cams. 16 of them can be seen along the circumference and the remaining one is in the middle. This camera can be helpful for getting upward facing views. The camera can easily generate 8K x 8k stereoscopic VR content at 30fps and also 6K x 6K at 60fps. This is some unbelievable high quality of the videos.

The camera settings can be tweaked which include the white balance, ISO and flat color mode. The weight of the device is 3.5 kg. This is very less as compared to the features of this jump camera. The battery is said to last for 100 minutes of recording when full charged. The camera can be plugged with an AC adapter to the wall.
As per the company user can use different set of batteries from other companies for customization and more performance. There is a touchscreen display where the user gets details of the SD card status of the camera and battery life. There is also an Android app which can be used to remotely operate and can be used as a live preview tool.

Automatic stitching is possible with ease with the help of the upward facing camera. The Jump Assembler uses Google’s computer vision technology & cloud infrastructure to care inputs from 17 different sensors and product one amazing 360 degree video. There is a timelapse mode, crisp focus and depth map generation. The focus is strong even if the object is closer the camera as per the company.
