Samsung’s Galaxy Series has become extremely famous in the past couple of years. Galaxy S1, S2, S3 and S4 have done well in the market in their time. Galaxy S5 was launched in April 2014 and was an instant consumer build just like its other kin. When the handset was launched last year, it was priced at Rs. 51,500. As of today it is priced at Rs. 22,999.

Galaxy S5 was an ultra-high-end smartphone with great technology running it. Today the same smartphone is available at a lower, much more affordable price. The handset has a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 Quad-core 2.5 GHz processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB internal space with expandable upto 128GB. The handset has a massive 5.1” Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Running Android v4.4.2 KitKat, upgradable to Lollipop, Galaxy S5 draws its power from a 2,800mAh battery which provides upto 390hrs of stand-by back up.

Galaxy S5 is 8.1mm thick and weighs about 145gms. 3G and 4G capable the smartphone comes in charcoal black, copper gold, electric blue, shimmery white color variants. At Rs. 22,999 the Galaxy S5 is worth the buy and probably would suffice as a decent, stable and convenient smartphone for all users. A good buy at that price.
