Recently Oppo India launched a new smartphone in India. This is a selfie centric smartphone named as Oppo F3 Plus. After the immense success of Oppo F1S which had a good front camera, will this new smartphone be the king of selfie capturing smartphone market? We recently attended the launch event of this smartphone which took place at Andaz Hotel in New Delhi.
Oppo India recently signed with their new brand Ambassador none other than Deepika Padukone.
She will be associated with the brand for the promotions of this Selfie Expert smartphone. At the event Sky Li(Global VP, Oppo), Daboo Ratnani(Fashion Photographer) and Deepika Padukone(Bollywood) were present and shared their thoughts about this latest smartphone from Oppo.
Oppo F3 Plus Features
We had an opportunity to use this smartphone for sometime. We will be sharing the features of this smartphone and also our opinion about this device.
Design
The phone has a 6 inch display which is another main highlight of the design. The phone is a dual SIM feature. User can use 2 nano SIMs in the device. The phone has a good screen to body ratio. It has size of 163.63 x 80.80 x 7.35 mm and weight of 185g. So the phone is a bit huge as it has a large display. It is having a fingerprint sensor as well.
Display
It has a 6 inch touchscreen display. The screen resolution of the display is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Memory
The device has 64GB internal memory and can also be expanded by a microSD card of upto 256GB. The device is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Processor with 4GB RAM.
Camera
Ok so here is the main feature of the smartphone. It has dual cameras in the front for clicking good selfies with good wide angle of 120 degrees. This is very crucial for capturing group selfies indeed. As mentioned it has 2 cameras in the front. One is a 16MP camera and other one has a 8MP sensor. The first camera has a 76.4 degree wide angle lens. The other camera has a 120 wide angle lens which is capable of capturing 105 degree field of view for better group selfies or groupfies.
In the camera there is a feature named as Smart Facial recognition feature which automatically chooses the best suitable lens to capture the selfie according to the conditions. There is also a selfie Panorama mode, screen flash, Beautify 4.0 app and a Palm shutter. This enhances while clicking selfies. The device has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash.
Connectivity
The phone has connectivity features like 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The sensors include Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Compass and Gyroscope.
Battery
The phone has a 4000mAh. So it can easily give you a battery backup of 1 and half days with normal usage.

Well we think that a dual front camera phone for taking wider selfies seems to be a great feature in this handset. This device is priced at Rs.30,990.
