A new smartphone has launched by Micromax. It is the upgraded version of the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311. The device is priced at Rs.13,574. There is a very small difference between the predecessor and the successor which is of major importance.

The smartphone has similar specifications to that of the predecessor. The smartphone has a 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×730 pixels. Display has 293.72 PPI. The smartphone is a dual SIM phone with 2GB RAM. The External storage can be upto 32GB using microSD card.
The main difference is in the internal storage. This smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 16GB the predecessor had only 8GB of internal storage. The user can only use the 12 GB for downloading applications.
The device has a rear camera of 13MP with Auto Focus and 5MP front camera. The rear camera is capable of capturing videos of 1080p. The connectivity features include 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The battery capacity of this smartphone is 2500 mAh. Company says that it will help the user to have a talk time of 10 hours.
