Music is one of the most important part of everyone`s life. Some people say that music is there for every mood. We on day to day basis enjoy music a lot. Enjoying music on the go is very important because we cannot carry our home theater`s speakers everywhere. So for people, earphones are like a savior to carry with them.
They are portable and useful to enjoy music as per your leisure time. The best part is that the earphone which we have reviewed can be connected to any Android or iOS phone as it can be connected to a 3.5mm jack.
Design
This Y shaped earphone is available in 3 color variants. Violet, Red and Green. We got the Red color variant for reviewing. The first look was that the all metal body of the buds. Also first we checked whether there are right and left labels on the ear buds because it is an important feature of any earphone.
There is Brainwavz branding on these ear buds. It is having a three button microphone and remote. Out of the three buttons two are the volume rocker buttons to increase or decrease the volume. The third button which is sandwiched in between is useful for picking up the calls. This is certainly a sleek and compact design for the earphones. The length of the earphone wire is 1.3m which is very long and useful.
Performance
There are four pairs of ear inserts. So any one of them will surely be helpful and suit to fit it in your ears. There are 9 mm dynamic drivers. While listening to the music, the vocals of a song are heard clear and with the background music. Talking about the bass, the earphone has a mild bass. When you increase the volume, it becomes a bit noisy and irritating to the ears. The treble at higher volumes makes it shaky and not an ideal earphone for loud music.
For low or mid music you can just enjoy for a longer time with the smoothness of soft songs. You will actually feel the vocals of the song and useful if you are much more focused on the vocals and mild music. The device is though not recommended for loud music for a long time. The performance for low and mild music was good.
Accessories
Now this is a huge list. You must be wondering that this is an earphone and what all will be thee in the package apart from the earphones? Well here it goes! There are 3 pairs of silicone tips which are in small, medium and large variants. So the kids can enjoy small and the adults can enjoy the medium or large depending upon the comfortness. There is a Comply S-400 medium foam tips. There is also a velcro tie which is helpful when you wind up the earphone while traveling.
There is also shirt clip. The company also gives a Brainwavz logo sticker. An instruction manual and warranty card is present in the box. The eye catcher and the best of all of them is the Brainwavz earphone carrying case. This case seems to be of very good quality. Carrying delicate earphones is not a problem when you have such a tough case to protect it while carrying it.
Warranty
There is a warranty of 1 year provided for the earphones.

The Brainwavz Jive is a compact portable earbuds which just serves the purpose. The best part is the quality of the device and the affordable price offered. If you are a fan of low or mild music and looking for earphones, then just buy it!
