We got an opportunity to review the biggest smartphone of the popular Asus Zenfone series. So today we have Asus Zenfone 6 (A601CG) model for reviewing purpose. So far it is said to be the best smartphone from Asus in the Zenfone series. So let us explore more about this product in detail. The main task is to find out what more it has than that of the Asus Zenfone 5.
Asus Zenfone 6 Features
In the design section I always prefer talking about the first look. When you get the device in your hands you get to know that it is heavy. It weighs 196 grams. So if you don`t like a heavy smartphone then you should give an excuse to this smartphone. The phone is available in 3 back color panels. White, Red and Black.
The on the right side of the phone there is a volume rocker. The lock screen button is just below the volume rocker. The main thing is that it is done for the easy accessibility for the user to approach the lock button. Where as in Asus Zenfone 6 the Lock screen button is placed above the volume rocker.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 166.9 x 84.3 x 9.9 mm. These are the length, width and height of the smartphone. The device is bulgy for sure. It is bigger than the Asus Zenfone 5.
The display of the smartphone is 6 inch. This is a very big screen and the icons in the smartphone look bigger. The display has 1280x720p resolution. The display has 244.77 PPI.
In the software The smartphone has Intel Atom Z2580 processor with 2 GHz. The device has a RAM of 2GB. We did multi-tasking a lot in the smartphone. We used many apps. Overall performance wise the device is good. The smartphone has a memory card slot of upto 64 GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone has a rear camera of 13 MP and the front camera is of 2MP. You can check the camera samples. We took photos, you can check the clarity of the photo. Even the video capturing from the camera can be done with ease.

You can hear the sound quality of the speaker in the video below the review. The main points which we observed are that the sound volume of the speaker is getting higher. The sound quality of the speaker are good. Better than that of the Asus Zenfone 5.
The phone has video playback of upto 1080p for sure. The video playback is just amazing in the smartphone.
The smartphone has a battery of 3300 mAh Lithium Battery. The smartphone has a good battery backup. Even while doing the review it took just around 15%. Even for using for prolong use. So the battery usage is very good.
Performance wise the phone is good. Multi-tasking can be done with ease. Overall at this price this phone feels a bit bulgy and heavy and not that worth for sure. If screen size & better camera quality doesn’t matter much to the buyer then the buyer should go for Asus Zenfone 5.
